Brian is a third-year DPhil in Condensed Matter Physics and a Clarendon scholar. He specialises in synchrotron x-ray techniques and neutron scattering experiments. His research area includes quantum magnetism, topological materials, excitations in 4d transitional metal compounds etc. He is also aiming to engage the public with the fascinating world of quantum materials by organising conferences.
